Sorry all but the main field is still closed from last nights rain. We were hoping for a little sunshine but it looks like the sun is hiding. So no training on field 1 this afternoon and tonight

Good afternoon. The main field at the club is officially closed. The field looks fine from distance, but up close it needs another day to recover/dry out. Please refrain from training this afternoon & tonight.

Match Report Sat 18 June

Dr Wheels Logan Village Falcons Under 12’s win again!

Logan Village U12's displayed outstanding defence to hold Oxley United scoreless on Saturday at Big River Country Park. Combining fabulous teamwork with confidence, the Logan Village attack and defence was flawless. Goal scorers were Louis Shayan with 2 goals and Max Dodds scoring a goal, walking away with a 3-nil win.

The Logan Village Radiator and Mechanical Under 11’s lost to Jimboomba on the weekend in a high scoring game. With Kash Trelora, Ben Havers, & Kye Huth scoring sensational goals, it was a fast paced game against a tough apponent. The win came from a combination of great accuracy from the Falcons strikers and their strong defence letting in only a couple of unlucky goals. The team worked hard all game and showed their coach a “never give up” attitude. Special mention to Kash Trelora, Ben Havers and Jacob Marcs.

Falcons U13’s are Top contenders for the Semi Finals!

Round 11 for the Tantyle Accountants Logan Village Falcons Under 13’s was expected to be a tough game, but they claimed the win 7-2 against strong competition of Rochedale Rovers. Keeping Logan Village as top contenders for the semi-finals. It was time to even the score for Logan Village, as Rochedale Rovers had already proven their strength in round 2 earlier this season where they took out the win.

Rochedale scored 2 goals in the first few minutes of the match, which could have potentially changed the game for Logan Village. But they didn’t let this alter their game play, nor did they lose sight of the win. The dedication, unity and comradery of the Logan Village boys was extremely prominent for the duration of the match.

At the 15th minute Timothy Angus scored the first goal for Logan Village, then the nets opened up! By half time the scoreboard was 4-2 in favour of the Falcons with Tim Angus executing another 2 goals along with Cody Saunders who also scored in the 24th minute.

Logan Village boys reset at half time and prepared for the final 30 minutes, they were out to prove to their parents, the club, their coach Gary Castle and most importantly to themselves that this day was to be theirs, the hunger was obvious.

The second half was all about the Falcons, where 3 more goals were scored by, yet again, team striker Timothy Angus along with some impressive passing and crosses which saw Trent Castle and Max Wagner send the last couple of balls into goal.

The fulltime score was a massive reflection on a game played and won by a deserving team on the day with Logan Village boys taking it home 7-2. There were no further goals from Rochedale after the 4th minute due to the Logan Village star goal keeper Jarrod Shoebridge, showing his form and ability in not allowing the Rovers to see the inside of the net again.

With amazing attack, defence and fire in their eyes to bring this one home, it was truly a great game to watch. The team motto is to “never give up, strive and do your best” proved a powerful one today. Well done Under 13s, and bring on Round 12!
