Football Queensland (FQ) is excited to have launched the FQ Masters League, opening up the opportunity for all affiliated football clubs in Brisbane to get involved.
In 2022, the FQ Masters League provides clubs and members with an extremely affordable, high quality, insured and accessible home and away competition format spanning Women’s Over 30s, Men’s Over 35s and Men’s Over 45s competitions.
The Men’s Over 35s and Over 45s competitions will remain split in North and South conferences, with Football Queensland to deliver the Metro North competitions and Queensland Masters Football (QMF) continuing to administer the Metro South competitions.
The Women’s Legends competition (Over 30s) will consist of one league featuring teams from across Brisbane, replacing the existing Brisbane Legends competition with games continuing to be played on Wednesday nights.
All registered players will be fully insured under Football Australia’s National Insurance Scheme and have access to newly ratified Competition Rules, Disciplinary and Member Protection and Dispute Resolution Policies.
